Who we are

John Pavitt is an environmental compliance inspector with 36 years experience working for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), primarily in the Alaska field office. John retired from federal service in 2024 and started his consulting business to continue protecting public health and the environment.

John has taught EPA’s Basic Inspector Training course as well as targeted, specialized trainings for federal, state, local and tribal inspectors. He has testified in civil and criminal trials as both a fact witness and expert witness.

Industries Inspected: oil and gas, pipelines, fuel distribution, power production, military, mining, ore processing, public utilities, incineration, metal fabrication, paintings and coatings, landfills, asphalt plants and asbestos abatement.
